Most challenges that the hospitality sector is faced with are the lack of highly qualified professionals on the labour market in possession of the appropriate skill set and experience as there is substantial emigration of trained labour, the education of the new generation is lagging behind, there is not a visible next generation and ambitious colleagues often do not see development opportunities. It is imperative to provide a voice for the opinion of the young generation on current issues of the profession and to help this opinion shape the future direction of Hungarian tourism.
One of our main goals, following the international and national trends, is to provide our members access to knowledge that meets the requirements of today’s accelerated world. We will only achieve this goal with the help of our colleagues and partners in new and innovative ways, providing practical help to every member with regards to the most important issues of the hotel industry (sales, marketing, operation, management, etc.). We aim to establish a focus group with a vast knowledge that is able to contribute to the development of the Hungarian hotel industry and to the whole of Hungarian tourism. To achieve this goal, it is essential that our members share their experience and continuously support each other in their work.
In our opinion, continuous trainings, exchange of experience, sharing knowledge and networking are essential to provide development and up-to-date information for our members. We intend to improve the future of the sector with meaningful actions. We aim to become a recognised professional organisation offering constructive solutions to current issues in order to strengthen our Association. We intend to cooperate with all major organisations of the hospitality and tourism scene to achieve our goals together, supporting each other.
